#Open a ready project
Open a project from your workspace once its timeline is ready. The editor brings the video preview, media tools, and timeline together on one screen. A project that is still building shows its progress before you can edit.
Start with a playback pass. Listen to the narration, check the supporting visuals, and note any captions, graphics, or cuts that need attention. You can preview edits without creating a finished render.

#A useful review order
Check the story
Play the video and check that each visual supports the narration at that moment.
Replace and trim
Select a media clip to replace it. Adjust its edges where a visual needs more or less time.
Refine the presentation
Edit graphics and captions, add overlays where needed, and listen to the music and sound effects.
Render and watch the result
Review the render confirmation, start the render, then watch the completed version before downloading.
#Working on a smaller screen
The editor adapts to the available space. On a phone, landscape gives you more room for the timeline. If the rotation prompt appears, you can rotate the device or choose Continue in portrait.
Collapse a tool panel when you want more preview space. Zoom into the timeline before making a precise trim. On touch screens, press and hold a media clip to open its copy and remove actions.
Use the question-mark button in the tool rail whenever you want to replay the editor tour.
