#Prepare a complete narration
For a straightforward first project, use a finished documentary script in a supported language. Write the words you want spoken, including a clear introduction, connected sections, and a conclusion. Remove drafting notes, placeholder citations, and instructions you do not want read aloud.
You can also start with your own recording. Use one audio voiceover or one talking-head video; an attached recording takes the place of the script field.
#Set up the video
Add the script
Paste it on Dashboard. Check the estimated length and any minimum-length message.
Choose YTA or Elias
YTA starts with a documentary source selection. Elias starts with a presenter-led selection. If you already chose your own sources, use Keep mine or Use preset in the confirmation.
Confirm the language
Select the flag and language name at the top of the composer. Choose the language you want the final narration to use.
Choose a narrator
Open Voice, preview a voice, select its row, and press Continue. A star saves a library voice for next time.
Review sources and styling
Open Advanced settings. Choose the source types you want, a graphics theme, and an AI media look if you use generated media. Select a presenter if AI presenter is enabled.
#Confirm and build
Press Create video to open Ready to build?. Review the source chips, estimated length, and credit breakdown. The estimate reflects the material and options you have selected. Fine-tune returns you to the settings without starting the build.
When everything is right, press Create video in the confirmation. Keep the page open until your file upload and project creation finish. The project page then shows build progress; you can return to it from Projects.
#Review before publishing
- Play the opening and check the narration, language, captions, and audio balance.
- Watch the whole first cut for factual accuracy, relevant visuals, names, and pronunciation.
- Replace any image or clip that does not fit. Check presenter layouts and any graphics, maps, or data.
- Add your own media or overlays, such as a QR code, when you need a specific branded asset.
- Render the video, then watch the exported version and download it before publishing.
